St. Antonin du Var and surroundings

The house is located in the heart of Provence - the area called Var - 1,5 km from the small village St. Antonin du Var. In St. Antonin du Var there is a fine local restaurant and it is here the local winery has its sale. The bakery has freshly baked baguettes all day long, and the minimarket has everything you might need. 

Lorgues:                                                                                                                         Lorgues, located 7 km from the house, is a typical French town and has all the essential facilities - there are several supermarkets, a pharmacy, cafés, restaurants and much more.

Lorgues has no less than 21 restaurants, for example the world famous restaurant Bruno, which is known for its outstanding truffles.

The market days are an important part of everyday life in Provence. In Lorgues there is a big market every tuesday from 09.00 - 12.30 with up to 20.000 visitors in the high season. Here, you can buy everything from olive oil, fruit, vegetables and cheeses to original Provence fabrics.

Draguignan:                                                                                                                            Draguignan is located about 20 km from the house. In the main square of the town there is a combined butcher and fish market which is only open in the mornings. Every day there is a market with fresh fruit and vegetables in the main square.
