Attractions and activities

• There are several attractions in the area:
  • The medieval town Entrecasteaux – 7 km
  • The medieval town Cotinac – 15 km
  • The town Gorges Du Verdon, with its magnificent nature and riverrafting- The Grand Canyon of France. Located about 30 min. from Lorgues.
  • The local wineries, where you can taste the wines of the region.
  • Daily market between 09.00 og 12.30.
    The market is held daily in one of the sorrunding towns nearby. In the house we have made a list of where the market is located throughout the week, 
    for example in Salernes, Lorgues, Le Luc, Les Arcs.
• Activities in the area:
  • Golf de st. Endreol. La Motte, located about 15 min. from Lorgues.
  • Isola 2000 is a unique destination. This ski resort is located just an hour by car from Nice airport and the beautiful "Cote d Azur". A holiday in Isola 2000 can be combined with a couple of days in our house in Provence. The area is very high up in The Alps, which is nessesary with the amount of sun there is in this part of France. It is a good and fairly big ski resort, challenging for beginners as well as advanced skiiers. The town has restaurants and nightclubs, and is located about 2 hours drive from Lorgues. 
  • Canooing – 5 km
  • Riverrafting – 45 km
  • Horse back riding – 4 km
  • Tennis – 2 km
  • Beaches  - 45 km fx St. Tropez
  • The lovely Cannes with all the celebrities during the Cannes Flim Festival
  • Lots of opportunities for biking and hiking
  • You can have a game of Petanque on the newly made court in the backyard.
